 FAQ's

Do I receive royalties from the book?

Because Power Pivots is a 12-author collaborative book, royalties are not divided among the individual authors. It would be a logistical challenge to track and distribute royalties individually.

The real value is the opportunity to become a USA Today Bestselling Author and use the book and that credential to elevate your credibility, visibility, brand, and business.

A portion of the book royalties will also be donated to the Authors League Fund, which helps writers experiencing financial hardship.

Do I have to help sell or promote the book?

No! We handle the entire bestseller launch for you. You’re not responsible for selling books or helping us hit the USA Today Bestseller list.

Of course, you’re welcome to share and celebrate the book with your audience, but it is not required.

Do I have to be an entrepreneur to participate?

No. We’re looking for people with a powerful pivot story — a defining moment, decision, setback, challenge, or turning point that changed the direction of your life, career, or business.

If your story could inspire someone else to see that their breaking point can become their turning point, it may be a great fit for Power Pivots.

Do I need to be an experienced writer?

Not at all. You don’t have to consider yourself a “writer.” We’ll provide guidance to help you develop your story, and your chapter will be professionally edited and formatted.

How long is my chapter?

Your chapter will be approximately 2,500 words, so you don’t have to write an entire book — just tell one powerful, focused story about the pivot that changed everything for you.

What if I don’t want to write my chapter myself?

We have an optional Done-For-You Ghostwriting Service available. We’ll interview you about your story and professionally write your chapter for you. Ask Michelle for details.

Will my name be on the book cover?

Yes! All 12 contributing authors will have their names on the cover. Names will be placed in the order authors join the project.

When will the book launch?

We’re targeting Fall 2026. The exact launch date is flexible and will be finalized once all 12 author spots are filled so we can strategically plan the USA Today Bestseller campaign.

What happens after I sign up?

Once you’ve enrolled and made your first payment, you’ll receive a Welcome Email and Author Quickstart Kit with everything you need to get started on your chapter.

We’ll guide you through the process from your story to the finished, professionally published book.

What is the investment?

The Early Bird investment is $6,000 and is available through September 23, 2026.

You can pay in full or take advantage of our Early Bird payment plan of 3 payments of $2,000.

Both the $6,000 Early Bird price and the payment plan expire September 23, 2026. After that date, the investment will increase and the payment plan will no longer be available.

What can I do with the book after it launches?
